Vietnam. Hu Chi Minh City, a place that also known as Economy city in Vietnam
Ten years ago, this place is full with people, who wear whites and riding bicycles,
Now, it full with people who wear trendy and colour clothes with their stylish motorbike.
It's is really hard to imagine that they are actually is a communist country.
Hu Chi Minh City was once known as Saigon.
Tour guide told us that, Saigon was not origin from Vietnam language,
It was created by their enemies (which now known as Cambodia).
Firstly, it was pronounce as "Saigo" and slowly, people change the pronunciation to "Saigon"
Back to today topic,
Vietnam Coffee, one of their famous must-try-item!
We were so excited to try on Vietnam coffee since the first day we arrive!
I had tried so-call-Vietnam-coffee in M’sia which did not impress me much!
I change my mind after I taste their REAL-Vietnam-Coffee!
We drank coffee 5 days continuously, and the best coffee I tasted was the café I went on the first day. (in fact, all of them are above average coffee for me)
Normally the café are dark and place with some chairs and short tables
It look a bit scary and unsafely, we will not dare to go in without any local people guide us.
The problems to order coffee over HCM city was, people around here not able to speak in English (especially location that not famous with tourist)
Hence, here some tips for you …
• Hot Coffee : cà phê (Pronounce as Coffee)
• Ice Coffee : cà phê đá (Pronounce as Coffee La)
• Hot Coffee with milk : cà phê sữa (Pronounce as Coffee Sua)
• Ice Coffee with milk : cà phê sữa đá (Pronounce as Coffee Sua La)
The differences are sữa (mean milk) OR đá (mean ice)
Phin
Vietnam coffee Significance look with it special metal filter which known as Phin
The relaxing moment! Enjoying a cup of coffee da~
Busy traffic, motorbike and cars non-stop going here and there
Tourist like us who hiding inside the little cafe wondering
"where are Vietnamese going? are they rush for relax?"
Ah~ tourist do not bother the time flew.. we just want to enjoy the moments..
